چکیده
The Regenerating Powers of Human Milk Molecules • Previous research has shown that the body releases specialized chemical signals that help resolve infections. • A new study identifies previously undescribed chemical signals present in human breast milk that accelerate tissue repair and regeneration in addition to resolving infections. • The discovery of these molecules may improve our understanding of the beneficial properties of breast milk and could lead to new approaches to treating infections and several human diseases.

Influence of Wet and Dry Season on Milk Composition of Dromedary Camels (Camelus dromedarius) from Tunisia
This study investigated the effect of season (wet and dry) on milk composition of the dromedary camel (Camelus dromedarius). Milk samples representing the wet and dry seasons were analyzed for total solids (TS), fat (F), solids-non-fat (SNF), ash, crude protein (CP), nitrogen soluble at pH 4.6 (SN), mineral content (MC) and casein fraction (CnF). Camel milk had higher (P

Curcumin (CUR) is the active curcuminoid with many physiological, biochemical, and pharmacological properties. Solubility and stability of CUR is the limiting factors for realizing its therapeutic potential. Bovine β-casein is an abundant milk protein that is highly amphiphilic and self-assembles into stable micellar nanoparticles in aqueous solution. β-Casein nanoparticle can solubilize CUR mo...
متن کاملHybrid Regenerating Codes for Distributed Storage Systems
Distributed storage systems are mainly justified due to their ability to store data reliably over some unreliable nodes such that the system can have long term durability. Recently, regenerating codes are proposed to make a balance between the repair bandwidth and the storage capacity per node. This is achieved through using the notion of network coding approach. In this paper, a new variation ...
متن کاملIncidence of Aflatoxin M1 in Human and Cow Milk in Kashan, Iran
Background: It is known that Aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) contamination in milk can have carcinogenic, teratogenic, and mutagenic activities especially in liver for both children and adults. The main aim of this survey was to investigate the incidence of AFM1 in human and cow milk in Kashan, Iran. Methods: A total of 42 breast milk samples were collected from a central hospital in Kashan city during 3-...
متن کاملKnowledge and Attitude of Nurses Working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on the Use of Human Donor Milk
Introduction: Donor milk is a new emerging phenomenon in Iran and its banks are currently operating at a limited level. Nurses’ knowledge and attitudes toward this issue play a very important role in the adoption of human donor milk by families. The aim of this study was to determine the knowledge and attitude of nurses working in neonatal intensive care units regarding the use of human donor...
